The Friends of the Cook Public Library is a membership-based organization that brings together a community interested in books, library services and programs.  We advocate for the library in our community and support the library through fundraising efforts.

All contributions given to the Friends of the Cook Public Library on Give to the Max Day and throughout the year benefit the Cook Public Library. The Friends of the Library provide the majority of funding for programs and events for all ages. Programs include the summer and winter reading programs, One Book One Community, teen events, Fiber Arts Month, take & make kits and story times.
