Friends Of The Brainerd Public LIbrary are a group of amazing volunteers who have a love for the local library.

Our Friends group works hard to find ways to raise awareness and funding to support our local library.  We provide for children's reading programs, additional copies of best selling books, computer classes for our community, author events, literacy education, special programs, Book In The Bag Program (10 copies of one book that may be checked out for reading groups), support of additional seating, children's materials, Teen area, open houses and more.

Over the past year thanks to our generous community we have added outdoor seating and a picnic area outside the library.   Your contributions help to make this happen. The Brainerd Public Library is YOUR library, we want to make it the best it can be.

Our current project:

Celebrate Give to the Max Day in Minnesota by donated to the Friends of the Brainerd Public Library. This year, we're hoping to raise enough funds to purchase a QuBits workshop set for STEM learning at the library! Visit GiveMN.org anytime between now and the end of November 15th to participate, and thank you for your generosity!

Thank you, as always for your support of the Brainerd Public Library!
