Friends of Maplewood State Park

A nonprofit organization

Welcome to the Friends of Maplewood State Park page!

The Friends of Maplewood State Park was organized in 1997.  We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide support and encourage the Park's recreational, interpretive, educational and environmental activities through leadership, volunteerism, program development and fund raising.

Each year, the Friends of Maplewood State Park host our signature events, the Candlelight Trek, Maple Syrup Day and Leaf Days in beautiful Maplewood State Park.  We also host various grade school classes to educate children on making maple syrup.  From tree identification to the demonstration of making the syrup in our Sugar Shack, the children and adults too, get an up-close approach as to how maple syrup is made.  We will also be working with our Park Manager on some beautification projects in the park.  These events are possible with the help of our amazing volunteers and donations from generous individuals such as yourselves!!  We could not do what we do without you.

Every Donation Makes A Difference!

Every donation helps us fund and focus on our wonderful educational, interpretive and environmental activities!  Please donate today!
