Your donation to Friends of Groveland Park School enriches the educational experience for every student in our neighborhood school.

Groveland Park is a nurturing neighborhood elementary school in St. Paul, MN that challenges and supports every student. We are known for high achievement, quality teachers, a strong sense of community, and a commitment to all learners.

Friends of Groveland Park supports that mission with annual fundraising projects that help enrich the educational experience for about 500 Pre-K through fifth grade students. This school year, your tax-deductible donations are being invested in great Groveland projects like these:

  • Enriching music and art residency programs with artists from a variety of places; among them, the Northern Clay Center, Compas Creative Classsroom and Walker West Music Academy
  • Events that celebrate our community, such as National African American Parent Involvement Day,  Science Fair, Writers' and Artists' Fair, Groveland After Dark, Community Villages Skate Party, Open Houses, PTO Movie Nights and the End-of-the-Year Picnic.
  • Author visits
  • Academic teams like Math Masters
  • Tools and teaching materials to enrich every classroom including science, music, art, technology and physical education equipment.
  • Flowers and plants to garden with
  • Student Leadership Team and Safety Patrol
  • Library and classroom books
