Friends of Africa Education is a nonprofit organization providing access to education for children in sub-Saharan Africa

Vision:  We seek to inspire students and their families to reach their full potential, by developing essential skills to attain social and economic independence.

St. Margaret's Academy, Tanzania

St. Margaret’s Academy is a nursery and primary school supporting over 750 students (nursery school = 203 and primary school 547). Many of the students are AIDS orphans or live in socially vulnerable situations. Despite vast challenges, the school is academically ranked one of the top in the country out of more than 15,000 primary schools. 474 students have graduated from St. Margaret's Academy, since its beginning. FOAE continues to build classrooms and provide educational scholarships for St. Margaret's students.

Uluthe/Mungao Kenya

FOAE supports four schools in the Uluthe/Mungao area. Tragically, 40% of the students in this region are orphans. The community is in desperate need of more teachers, classrooms, and school supplies. Not all of the children in the community can attend school because these essentials are lacking. FOAE continues to build classrooms and fund repairs of existing school buildings.

St. Anthony Uluthe Primary School has 240 students and the Secondary school has 225 students.
