Ben and Maya's Story:
Soon after Ben was adopted, his parents found themselves traveling throughout the Twin Cities for the therapies he needed. This was stressful, and his parents knew there had to be a better way.
That’s when they discovered Fraser School. At Fraser School, Ben is able to receive all the services he needs at one location with the added benefit of playing alongside children his own age. He particularly enjoys Fraser Learn Talk Play —an innovative small-group rehabilitation program for children with social, communication and emotional regulation needs. When combined with physical, occupational and speech therapy, Ben has seen his confidence grow and his ability to engage with his friends deepen.
“We can’t say enough positive things about Fraser School and the staff,” shared Ben’s parents. The philosophy, inclusive environment and quality of staff have far exceeded their expectations. When they adopted their daughter, Maya, they knew right away they wanted her at Fraser School too. “It takes a lot of stress off us knowing there are people watching our children who care about them like we do.”
Learn Talk Play is a vital service for kids like Ben, but we need your support to provide the essential tools used in the program. Schedule your Give to the Max Day donation to Fraser today to help us provide essential services to individuals like Ben and Maya.
