Forest Lake-Forest View PTA

Thank you for your consideration to donate to Forest View and Forest Lake Elementary schools! 

As a PTA, it's important to us to honor that our family's emotional, financial, and time availability. Give To The Max Day is a safe and convenient way to support your schools in whichever way you're able to.  100%  of the money raised goes directly into supporting an engaging learning environment for our students and to supporting our teachers. Here are some of the things that the PTA funds, but is not limited to:

-Grade Level Grants.  Many classrooms take fieldtrips or plan other activities to create a fun and engaging learning experience for our students. Our PTA funds Grade Level Grants that help teachers keep students engaged and excited about learning.  Each grade level was/is granted $1,000+ to invest into engaging and academically enriching programs/tools for their classrooms in order to help students  stay excited about school.

-Teacher Grants. A recent study found that the majority of teacher invest $500-$1,000 of their own money into their classrooms.  The PTA grants each teacher $150 to help absorb a portion of their financial investments into their classrooms.  

-Community Building Activities It's important for our students to feel like they are a part of our bigger school community. To help our students achieve this goal and create memories that will last a lifetime, our PTA puts on events like Popcorn Fridays and Family Fun Night, at no cost to students or our schools. 

-Technology Support. As our school model flows in and out of different learning models, the PTA has set aside money in order to support our schools with any technology support so that our classrooms can continue to function as optimal as possible. 

-End of year celebrations . Completing the school year is be a big accomplishment for staff, families, and students. Annually, we take advantage to celebrate all of the efforts our students have put into their school year! 

-Teacher Appreciation. Our teachers are truly the heart of our schools and they are so resilient and flexible for our community.  To show gratitude, the PTA covers small gifts for teacher appreciation week as well as providing meals during the long hours of teacher conferences.
