Flying Pig Thrift

FLYING PIG THRIFT is a nonprofit thrift store where customers get good deals and their purchases help support other local nonprofits.  We opened in July 2019 and have been flying forward ever since!  The store is registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit so donated items and donated money can be tax-dedutible. We don't buy anything to sell in the store - everything is donated - and this helps us keep costs down so we have more money to give to other nonprofits. The store has 2 paid part-time employees but everyone else working at the store is a volunteer. Using volunteers also helps us keep costs down so there is more money to donate to other nonprofits. The nonprofits supported by Flying Pig Thrift work towards social justice and reducing gun violence. Flying Pig has the unique distinction of being a thrift shop that benefits more than one nonprofit. The store also displays artwork made by local artists, some of which is made from repurposed materials. Please come in and browse around (Tuesday-Saturday from 11-6 pm), talk to our staff and volunteers, and maybe decide you want to volunteer. Our volunteers are a diverse and welcoming group and we hope you want to join us.
