Flourish Placemaking Collective is a community development organization investing in our South Minneapolis neighborhoods (and beyond!) since 2009. 

We are committed to the good and needed work of placemaking—

of reimagining and repurposing space in our neighborhoods 

and how we inhabit them for the flourishing of us all.

The Center of Belonging, our inaugural project, was met with immeasurable positivity, excitement and warmth. At the heart of the Center of Belonging is our Flourish Food Market, a dignified food shelf serving 60+ families every week with fresh and health food options. 

And it's becoming crystal clear: the desire for healthy food is something our neighbors want and need. As more and more neighbors find their way into our market, we're needing to accommodate and increase our capacity. Reaching our goal of $2,500 will allow us to purchase another commercial fridge to store all the fresh foods and produce we provide our neighbors every week.
