Fishing for Life serves youth, families, veterans & communities through fishing and outdoor programs.

Fishing is something that nearly everyone can do -- but not everyone gets the opportunity.  Fishing for Life exists to provide that opportunity by serving kids, families, veterans, and communities through fishing and outdoor programs.

We can’t do this by ourselves, and we need your help!  Your monetary gift will help us give a youth or a veteran (or child of a veteran) an opportunity to fish!

Thanks to YOUR time and support!

We continue to increase our effectiveness and programming where it counts most: offering our time and ministry to the kids, families, and soldiers we serve through our outdoor programs. Much of this growth was due to our commitment to plan and organize well, our committed, talented staff, and our volunteers and partnering with organizations.

Here's a snapshot of our growth in 2021:

Reel 'Em In Program: We had smaller rebuild days this summer and still managed to give away hundreds of rods, reels, and tackle boxes.

High C's Camp: This year we had 12 full overnight camps and day camps.

NextGEN Program: We continue to train in more NextGEN guides and are currently working to link NextGEN kids with the guides.

Deep C's Men's Ministry: We had over 50 Men come to our Fall Retreat this year at Mount Carmel on Lake Carlos!

Our banquet will take place next Spring, April 9th, 2022. Save the Date!

We Still Need YOUR Help!   Despite this whirlwind of a year, it still takes resources to keep the hamster wheel moving. We appreciate all those that have given to our organization throughout the year. We hope to continue our mission in 2021-2022.

Might you be willing to fill in the gap?

Please consider a year-end charitable donation to Fishing for Life –  no donation is too small or too great! We are honored by your support!

One of our programs experiencing explosive growth is our High C's Fishing Camps for kids.  Here are a few testimonials from campers:

From the parents and guardians:

Fishing for Life has has provided our high school son an opportunity to pursue his passion for fishing while exploring the biblical truths contained in God's word.  As a resident of the Brainerd Lakes Area, we have come to find that the combination of fishing and bible teaching is a great way for our boys to experience first hand the wonders of God's creation and His plan for their lives.  We look forward to the many opportunities for our oldest son as he begins to prepare for life outside of our home and are grateful for the mentorship and positive life-long relationships developed through the staff and fellow campers of Fishing for Life.~Steve W.

I am so grateful for FFL. My grandson just loves it. He loves fishing and more importantly has had the guidance of Godly men.  After his last day trip, he was so happy. He told me he never met a fisherman he didn’t like. He really liked Cody and told me he wanted to be like him when he grows up. That Sunday morning Robert didn’t want to go to church. I reminded him that Cody would be going to church. He immediately got ready without a problem, FFL has been an answer to prayer. ~Teri B.

Thank you so much for this amazing opportunity for our boys! They have been so excited every day to come home and share their stories. With all the uncertainty right now it has been a blessing for them to be able to be on the lake, making friends and enjoying a passion/sport while learning! ~Chris & Laura H.
