FFYR is raising money for our winter needs! Where does your donation go? Mainly basic operating costs such as:
-Animals feeds and hay (our biggest expense!)
-Farrier and veterinary expenses
-Improving and maintaining shelters for animals and facilities
-Allowing us to perform public outreaches
-Insurance
Firefly Fields does not charge for its sessions or services so we rely completely on donations and support from the general public. We offer our services completely FREE of charge and have no paid employees.

Firefly Fields Youth Ranch is a nonprofit youth ministry organization located in Vergas, MN. Our mission is: "Being a Light for Those in Need." We achieve this by: mentoring disadvantaged children and families in a ranch setting using animals; rescuing animals in need, rehabilitating them, and then rehoming them or using them in our program; offering a place of peace for veterans; working with and training animals for services, therapy, or emotional support. Our rock is a Christian foundation as we believe Jesus Christ gave us the animals and the opportunity to use them to touch the lives of those in need; practically showing them His love. He is the greatest, and brightest light in our lives and we aim to honor Him by sharing that light with others. All are welcome here. Our mentoring sessions are primarily designed for children ages 5-18
