Fiercely Embraced is a dedicated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, rooted in Minneapolis, with an unwavering commitment to uplifting and protecting women and children facing domestic abuse and post-separation abuse. We believe that every individual deserves safety, dignity, and the opportunity to thrive beyond their circumstances.

Our Mission-  Fiercely Embraced provides a safe space of Support, Empowerment, Education and Advocacy for Women and Children experiencing Post Separation Abuse.

 By raising awareness and advocating for policy changes, we strive to create safer communities and provide comprehensive assistance to survivors as they rebuild their lives.

Our Programs- At Fiercely Embraced, we offer:

• Embrace Circle - The Embrace Circle is our weekly support group designed to provide a safe, judgment-free space for women who have experienced domestic violence or post-separation abuse.

  Through open discussion, shared experiences, and guided healing activities, participants learn to rebuild confidence, rediscover their voices, and find community among others who understand their journey.

• The Embrace Project- Through The Embrace Project, Fiercely Embraced partners with local schools and community organizations to educate youth and families about healthy relationships, boundaries, and emotional safety.

  Our workshops teach students to recognize red flags and green flags, understand the difference between healthy and unhealthy behaviors, and build confidence to set boundaries rooted in respect and self-worth.

• Self-Defense Classes: Our self-defense boxing sessions are tailored to help women regain confidence and learn practical safety skills. These classes are led by experienced coaches and foster a supportive environment where survivors can strengthen their physical and mental resilience.

• Nutritional Workshops: Recognizing the importance of holistic healing, our nutrition programs are designed to help women rebuild their health and wellbeing through proper nutrition and lifestyle changes.

• Community Outreach and Events: We host events to educate the public and advocate for policy change, such as our Empower & Rise conference, which brings together survivors, community leaders, and policymakers to discuss solutions and bring awareness to post-separation abuse.

Our Impact- Since our founding, Fiercely Embraced has reached countless survivors, helping them on their journey to recovery and empowerment. From offering essential supplies and temporary housing support to fostering partnerships with local organizations and government leaders, our impact is deeply felt throughout the community. In October 2024, we were honored to receive a Proclamation from the State of Minnesota for Domestic Violence Awareness and Prevention Month, recognizing our dedicated efforts and advocacy.
