Fe y Justicia is a Latinx led, and faith-based organization that serves the local Latino and immigrant community in Central Minnesota. As a small grassroots organization grounded in relationships, trust, and meeting our community where they are at, we continually serve as an access-point, service provider, and relationship builder in our community. We provide services in areas related to health, immigration status, leadership and organizing, labor and worker's rights, financial capability and stability, housing, and more. Our wraparound service model aims to build power within and for the Latino community in Central Minnesota to advance equity, improve opportunities, and provide tools to spark leadership across generations. Right now, we are in a crisis and we are meeting the moment doing extensive rapid response, mutual aid and emergency support for our community.

Immigrant families across Central Minnesota are facing an escalating crisis.

ICE tactics have intensified, and many of our neighbors are afraid to leave their homes. Families are being cut off from food, transportation, income, and essential services. In rural areas surrounding St. Cloud -- where communities are often isolated and openly anti-immigrant --resources are scarce.

Fe y Justicia is a trusted grassroots organization with deep roots in the Latinx community. We are on the ground every day, pivoting constantly to meet rapidly changing needs -- answering calls for help, organizing mutual aid, and coordinating rapid response across a wide rural region that is often overlooked.

Our communities include essential workers in meatpacking plants, agriculture, dairy facilities, and farms — people who carry much of Minnesota’s economy on their backs, yet are among the most vulnerable right now.

What we’re doing right now

Our team and hundreds of volunteers are working around the clock to keep families safe by:

  • Delivering food and essential supplies to families who cannot safely leave their homes

  • Coordinating rapid response to ICE activity, including legal observing and real-time community alerts

  • Connecting people to urgent legal services in cases of detention or deportation

  • Supporting rent, utilities, transportation, and basic needs for families in crisis

  • Running Know Your Rights and Rapid Response trainings (in Spanish and English) for both immigrant community members and allies

  • Organizing mutual aid across Stearns, Sherburne, Kandiyohi, and surrounding counties — far beyond the Twin Cities

We are serving families up to two hours away from St. Cloud, where formal services barely exist. As enforcement tactics evolve, we are also adapting our safety protocols daily — we are vetting volunteers and coordinating closely between mutual aid and rapid response teams to keep people safe.

Our Impact to Date

Despite limited resources, together we have already:

  • Reached 5,000+ people through direct food and supply deliveries, with thousands more supported through rapid response

  • Organized mutual aid and rapid response across 8 counties in Central Minnesota

  • Built a network of hundreds of volunteers supporting food packing, deliveries, legal observing, and community alerts

  • Coordinated real-time ICE monitoring to help families avoid enforcement during deliveries and essential travel

  • Connected community members to urgent legal services

  • Launched ongoing Know Your Rights and Rapid Response trainings

  • Begun organizing new rural hubs so mutual aid can be sustained locally, closer to families in need

Every day, more families reach out. The scale of need continues to grow.
