Invest in Youth

Join us in advancing economic and health equity for youth. Since 1972, we have been walking alongside youth as they heal from trauma, build stability, and participate meaningfully in their communities. We build trusting relationships with youth through our medical, mental health, housing, and support services.

We take a nonjudgmental and compassionate approach to the work we do. No matter how difficult a situation may be, we listen to youth and explore all the options. Young people and their families are the experts for their lives. When they are engaged in finding solutions from their strengths, they do better and can overcome any obstacle.

Youth play a powerful role in our community. They are our present and our future.

We invite you to engage us in this work. Youth deserve our encouragement and support today. Let’s work together to amplify their voices and witness how powerful they are.

About Face to Face

Face to Face has provided essential support for marginalized young people for almost 50 years. We started this work in 1972 when we began as a walk-in crisis counseling and reproductive health clinic for youth. In 1994 we opened SafeZone, a drop-in center for youth experiencing homelessness.

Our mission is advance economic and health equity for youth while providing support, opportunities, and access to resources as they build on their strengths and achieve their aspirations. We support youth ages 11-24 who face the worst disparities in health, education, and economy. No other organization in Ramsey County provides the breadth of services for young people that we do.

Across the organization we have three core program areas; mental health, medical clinic, and homeless youth. All of our programs are integrated in order to provide a comprehensive approach that addresses the multiple challenges Face to Face clients are navigating. In spite of the barriers young people face, they have secured stable housing, improved their mental health, received life-trajectory-changing medical care, and much more.
