Everwood hopes to strengthen our communities through the power of art.

Art can be sheer fun and enjoyment. It can foster therapeutic relief and a way to appreciate life’s beauty. Perhaps most important, art builds community by establishing a shared identity and sense of belonging among people from different backgrounds. Everwood’s vision is simple — we will strengthen our communities through the power of art.

As we reflect on our 11th season, we are most proud of the vast number of communities impacted by the work of our tiny non-profit located in a town of 1,300 people. Attendance at our Artist Series events increased over 17% from the previous year. And nearly $8,000 was awarded to 7 teachers through Everwood’s Aspiring Artists Fund which will inspire hundreds of students across local Wisconsin communities. This year, we were thrilled to celebrate the milestone of surpassing $50,000 in total giving since our inception! The positive impact of your support is also felt outside of our local communities as thirty artists from 9 different states traveled to Everwood to participate in our Artist Retreat. To us, these impacts on our communities represent “growth.” And your generous support makes this growth possible.

Thank you for helping build the Everwood Farmstead community! Your support can help us meaningfully widen our circle of impact by:

  • Hiring our first employee
  • Expanding the Aspiring Artists Fund to benefit more teachers and students
  • Funding more stipends for retreating artists to cover childcare or compensate for lost wages
  • Ensuring that Artist Series performers and Artist Workshop instructors are paid at market-rates
  • Hiring vendors to maintain our website and edit our podcast
  • Partnering with development experts to help us grow our mission sustainably
