Equitable Development Action (EDACT) exists to serve as a voice for underserved communities by promoting equity, economic inclusion, and generational wealth. Our primary tool is capacity development, which underpins all our programs and community engagement efforts.
Born out of a response to the systemic inequalities across Minnesota, particularly in the Northwest suburbs. EDACT is driven by the belief that sustainable change begins with access, empowerment, and opportunity. We design and deliver programs that directly address the socioeconomic barriers faced by BIPOC, immigrant, and low-income populations.
Over the years, our agility, grassroots insight, and collaborative approach have enabled us to adapt quickly to evolving community needs and create tailored solutions that align with our mission, reach, and capacity.
Our Vision
A world where opportunities for wealth accumulation are accessible to everyone, regardless of race, background, or geography.
Our Mission
To foster equity and economic inclusion through capacity development as the foundation for building generational wealth in underserved communities.
Our Goal
To catalyze wealth building through shared opportunities, countering opportunity hoarding by building strong collaborations, strategic networks, and deep stakeholder engagement.
