Give to the Max 2024 - Emerson Dual Language Elementary
Emerson’s biggest fundraiser of the year is here, and we need your help to make it a success! Minnesota's giving holiday allows us to raise essential funds for our students’ education and experience.
This year, Emerson Dual Language Elementary aims to raise $2000 to fund critical needs like our amazing International TAs who support classroom instruction, family breakfasts and coffee, staff appreciation events, and other enriching experiences for our students. We know that donations will enhance learning and event experiences for everyone in our school community.
By contributing to these Give to the Max campaigns, you’re helping us make every Emerson student's potential a reality. Together, we can support educational opportunities, celebrate milestones, and ensure our students have the resources they need.
Help us reach our goal and invest in the future of Emerson students! Your generosity funds programs, events, and experiences that make a lasting impact. Every dollar counts—donations of all sizes help us get closer to our goal.
Join us in this mission! Visit our GiveMN page to make a tax-deductible donation, and let’s make Give to the Max 2024 a day of impact for our students.
About Emerson:
Emerson Dual Language School exists to provide a high-quality, anti-racist and culturally responsive education for every student.
Emerson Dual Language is a citywide magnet school located in the Loring Park neighborhood of Central Minneapolis, welcoming students from throughout the city. Students at Emerson experience a collaborative learning environment in two languages.
Beginning in kindergarten, students receive 90% of their instruction in Spanish and 10% of their instruction in English. Instruction in English gradually increases with the English/Spanish ratio culminating at 50/50 in grade 5. All students learn to speak, read and write in both languages. Students are encouraged to continue with the Spanish dual language program at Andersen United Community School.
Emerson is the oldest Spanish immersion program in Minnesota.
