WHO WE ARE:

Ellie's Legacy Pet Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue organization that was started in June 2014 by Karen Brehmer.  Our rescue is 100% ran by volunteers who have a passion to make a positive difference to animals in need. We are a no-kill non-profit rescue. We are a foster based rescue & are always seeking new foster families. The more approved foster families we have, the more animals we can save.

We have saved more than 800 cats & dogs since the beginning! For a small rescue that relies solely on donations, our vet bills become quite high.

Year to date for 2023, we're at 89 intakes and over 50 of them adopted!
