Don’t Let Another Family Suffer: Stand Up for Minnesota Seniors

Last month in Minnesota, two seniors died from medication errors. Two others were sexually assaulted while in care facilities. These are not isolated incidents—they reveal a system still failing our parents, grandparents, and all of us. Deplorable conditions in assisted living and nursing homes are causing needless suffering and heartbreaking loss.

Imagine getting the call every family dreads.

You trusted a facility with your loved one. Then comes the news: a preventable, fatal mistake. No family should face that nightmare.

This is why Elder Voice Advocates exists.

We fight for every Minnesota family’s right to safe, dignified care. We expose abuse and neglect, demand stronger laws, and push for accountability so these horrors don’t keep repeating in our state’s senior care facilities. That’s why we created Elder Care IQ; a platform that empowers families with unbiased, government-sourced data about senior care providers — completely free to use and free from industry influence.

Elder Care IQ: Helping Seniors and Families Make Informed Choices About Care

Every day, thousands of families face one of life’s most difficult decisions: finding safe, compassionate, high-quality care for an aging loved one. We believe transparency saves lives — and peace of mind starts with trustworthy information.

Our guiding principles are simple but powerful:

  • Quality first: We focus exclusively on verified, government data to provide accurate care quality indicators.

  • 🔍 Total transparency: No hidden agendas, no outside influence — just clear, factual information families can trust.

  • 💙 Always free: Because access to reliable care information should never depend on ability to pay.

  • 🚫 Zero bias: No funder, care provider, or sponsor can shape or alter our data.

All our work is made possible through grants, donations, and ethical sponsorships from organizations that share our commitment to better elder care.

Your gift fuels this life-saving work.

Together, we can help families make safer choices and protect the people they love. Here’s how your support becomes a lifeline:

  • Keep the Elder Care IQ tool free and accessible so families can spot red flags before choosing a care facility.
  • Fight for stronger laws and accountability so no one has to say, “This should never have happened.”
  • Alert media and lawmakers when harm occurs—because silence only protects the abusers.

We aim to raise $7,500 to equip more families with the resources to protect their loved ones.

Every dollar brings us closer to a Minnesota where no elder suffers in silence, and no family lies awake at night wondering if their loved one is safe.

Will you give today—give for safety, and Give to the Max?
Our elders are counting on us!
