EdVisions is a Minnesota based non-profit educational development organization focused on innovation and equity through personalization, teacher and student empowerment and student-driven, project-based learning. Since 2000, EdVisions has helped to create and sustain a network of public schools across the U.S. using the EdVisions model. Our organization provides support for school transformation and new school development, including coaching, workshops, conferences, access to research and a variety of instructional and assessment tools. 

The founders of EdVisions pioneered and implemented a structured self-directed project learning model using advisory-based and experiential learning, along with a high-tech personal work space for each student. In EdVisions schools, the traditional course-based, bell-driven system is replaced by a series of individual and group projects designed to meet or exceed state standards. Teachers lead through advisory and are each responsible for the student outcomes of 15-20 students, often serving the same students for multiple years. Students have a personal learning plan connected to Head Rush, with a rigorous standards tracking system (portfolio), accessible by parents. This model, now in practice for over twenty years at Minnesota New Country School and several other schools in Minnesota and the US, has continuously yielded positive, measurable results.
