Duluth Edison North Star PAC

The North Star Parent Advisory Committee supports Duluth Edison Charter Schools via Advocacy, Fundraising and Communications.

What do we do?
PAC works with school administration and staff to represent the needs and concerns of DECS North Star families. We are also a source for supplemental funding for enriched learning experiences for our students, classroom resources, books, sports attire, and music equipment. We work to provide volunteers at events such as school carnivals, teacher appreciation events, book fairs, dances and other school functions.

Who is involved?
All DECS parents and caregivers are members of PAC. Everyone is encouraged to attend meetings to have their voices heard and be part of our recommendations and funding decisions. The PAC executive board votes on all decisions. You do not have to attend regular PAC meetings in order to lend a hand at PAC events. We can always use help making our events successful for students and for staff.
