EDEN PRAIRIE SCHOOLS EARLY CHILDHOOD SCHOLARSHIP FUND

Your donation helps all children afford the opportunity to learn and grow. Each year, over $75,000 worth of scholarship and outreach support is needed to meet the needs of Eden Prairie families. 

The Early Childhood Scholarship Fund provides scholarships for outreach programs, preschool and parent education classes for Eden Prairie families with children ages birth – 5. Any amount makes a difference!

Why are Scholarships needed?

• Funding comes from legislated dollars, program fees, grants and contributions. Tuition alone covers less than half the cost of a class.
• Each year approximately 200 Eden Prairie families request financial support to participate for a variety of reasons including: job transition, illness, recent immigration, and changed family or financial situation.

 

The mission of Eden Prairie Schools Early Childhood Education Scholarship Fund, formerly Friends of the Family Center (since 1981) is to educate and support all families with children ages birth to five, through parent education, parent/child interaction opportunities and preschool experiences.
