East Range DAC is a private, non-profit agency that has been serving adults who have intellectual and developmental disabilities since 1966.

East Range DAC provides both job training and work opportunities for about 96 individuals who live in communities throughout the Iron Range.

In order to meet individual interests and needs we provide a variety of work areas:

Rags Plus - we recycle old clothing and fabric to make rags.

Shredding - we shred documents for local businesses. We use some of the shredded paper to make a recycled project: Firestarters.

Wildwood Cottage - we repurpose and upcycle furniture and other household décor using chalk paint and some very creative ideas.

Wildwood Gifts - Because we want to provide real work opportunities while having a variety of work available to match an individual's needs we developed a line of unique hand-crafted products. Some of our creations include jewelry, Up North items such as bear, moose, loon, and birch bark items, outdoor furniture, wreaths, wooden signs and much more.

We are passionate about what we do. We believe in the dignity of work and that individuals who have disabilities have a great deal to offer our communities.
