The  Eagles 5 th District Cancer Telethon is a nonprofit charity based in Rochester, Minnesota, that operates year-round, culminating in a telethon each January. The money raised supports vital cancer research at three local institutions:

  1. The Mayo Clinic Cancer Center
  2. The Hormel Institute at the University of Minnesota
  3. The Masonic Cancer Center at the University of Minnesota

Our Cancer Telethon is the LONGEST LOCALLY RUN TELETHON IN U.S., and we attribute our success to the continuous support, dedication, and passion of our volunteers, community organizations, and our local TV station, KTTC.

The Telethon raises hundreds of thousands of dollars for cancer research each year.  As of 2023 the Telethon has donated in excess of 22 million in the fight against cancer.

Beyond fundraising, the Telethon’s outpouring of community support offers hope and inspiration for those walking their cancer journeys, showing them that they’re not alone. As we raise money for cancer research …

We SUPPORT those touched by cancer.
We REMEMBER those whose lives were lost.
We STRIVE for a future that’s cancer free.

Together we can make a difference. Please give today!
