Dakota Center for the Arts, made up of a board of volunteers, has a long history of connecting arts and community by organizing the annual Eagan Art Festival, participating in local events, offering scholarships towards arts education, and funding art classes.
The 30th Annual Eagan Art Festival, June 22 - 23, 2024, includes artists showcasing approximately a dozen mediums, interactive artist demonstrations for the whole family, a kids scavenger hunt, and musical entertainment! More information about this annual festival can be found at (link) Eagan Art Festival.
The college art scholarships are provided to high school students going into the arts. More information about these scholarships and applications can be found at (link) Eagan Community Foundation. We want to congratulate 2024 recipients, Olivia Varpness and Trinity Riordan of Eagan High School!
Our organization also assists in funding non resident senior art classes at the Eagan Art House, volunteer support for other organizations, and is active in the September Eagan Art Block, hosted by the Eagan Art House. More information about art classes and the Eagan Art Block can be found at (link) Eagan Art House.
Thank you to those who joined us and supported us this year! It is only through the support of donations, sponsors, volunteers, and grants that our mission is possible.
Please help us continue to offer arts in our community!
