DULUTH EDISON CHARTER SCHOOLS

 

Your support of the Duluth Edison Charter Schools Legacy Foundation helps make grants to our teachers to benefit their students possible. The foundation represents a community-based effort to build partnerships and assets in order to provide supplemental funding, independent of the school budget, to enrich and extend the education of students of the Duluth Public Schools Academy, also known as Duluth Edison Charter Schools.

This fall we provided our first grants to teachers for flexible seating options in two Raleigh classrooms and for rubber boots and outdoor wear for students in our new outdoor education program at North Star.  

The Duluth Edison Charter Schools Legacy Foundation is administered by a board of trustees made up of 7 to 9 members in conjunction with the Duluth Superior Area Community Foundation.

Your gift to the DECS Legacy Foundation will help ensure that there is always a fund that our teachers can go to for needs beyond their normal classroom budgets that enhance our students educational experiences.
