Your donations support programs and services for individuals with Down syndrome and their families from prenatal or birth diagnosis through adulthood.

The Down Syndrome Association of Minnesota is a statewide nonprofit organization with the mission to empower individuals and families, create community, and celebrate the abilities of people with Down syndrome. We do this by providing support, assistance, and opportunity to individuals with Down syndrome and their families. Our vision is for all people with Down syndrome to achieve their fullest potential in an accepting and inclusive society.

During this time, while we cannot meet in person we’ve INCREASED our programming with a focus on the social and emotional well being of both individuals with Down syndrome and their parents/caregivers. 

Our virtual programming has been built to support staying connected and providing resources to support you.  

We can’t do this without you. Donations made today and through the end of the year will help fund our current and expanded in person AND virtual programming, including: 

Awareness & Inclusion programming like Disability Day at the Capitol, World Down Syndrome Day Classroom Kits, and our Step Up for Down Syndrome Awareness Walk

Independence & Employment programming like iCan Bike Camp, The Improvaneers Method Employment Training, and our Youth & Adult Conference  

Support & Community Building programming like our parent groups, new parent gatherings, our one-on-one family mentoring, and our family picnics in communities across Minnesota.

Family Education events like our Statewide Learning Conference and webinars from renowned experts in the areas of health, employment, education, independence, and caregiver support.

Healthcare & Community Outreach including our publications, resource packets, lending library, workshops, conferences and webinars.
