Mission

Help find the cure for diabetes, and until that goal is achieve, to provide the care and self-management skills needed to combat the life-threatening complications of this terrible disease.

How

DRWF provides funds to researchers whose work offers the best hope and most expedient path to a cure for diabetes. DRWF promotes public education about the causes, prevention, and treatment of diabetes and its complications.

Programs

DRWF provides many free services and programs to diabetics throughout the country. Since 1995 we have distributed over 625,000 Free diabetes emergency identification necklaces. Helped many unisured individuals get laser eye treatments. Published educational materials as well as a monthly Diabetes Wellness News.
