Douglas County Developmental Achievement Center

The Douglas County Developmental Achievement Center (DAC) provides Day Training and Habilitation (DT&H) services to adults 18 years and older with developmental and intellectual disabilities.  DT&H services include advocating for each individual to develop and maintain life skills; pre-vocational training, the opportunity to engage in productive and satisfying employment, activities of their own choosing, and encouragement to participate in community life.  Programming for the people we serve is designed and implemented in accordance with their individual service and habilitation plans to help them reach and maintain their highest level of productivity and independence.
