District 840 Foundation

Our District 840 Foundation began October 2001. Our mission is to enhance and support the efforts of the St. James School District to provide the best possible education for the children of our community.  They are our future!  We receive our funds that we grant our teaching staff through donations and fundraisers.  

Our best fundraiser to date is the "Cash For Kids" Auction, held every spring. We also have an annual golf tournament, DRIVE 4UR SCHOOL (FORD company donation) for test driving a Ford vehicle, fall fashion show, monthly gift card sales where we receive a percentage of the value of the card, ordering on www.smile.amazon.com, memorial donations and regular donations.

Since the start of our District 840 Foundation, we have gifted the St. James Public Schools over $665,000.  Our funds are used in Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grades and for all subjects.

*Cameras for the Photography Class

*Calculators for math classrooms (graphing and regular)

*Science Skeleton, microscopes, biotechnology lab systems, light box, and many more items for Science

*English field trips to the Cities for plays

*Pianos

*Many classroom reading books for Northside Elem.

*Car lift with accessories for HS Basic Automotive class

*Kitchen items and sewing machines for HS FACS classes
