Detroit Lakes Area Pride

Detroit Lakes Area Pride is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering and celebrating 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals who live in and around the Detroit Lakes community.

We believe that visibility, belonging, and connection make our community stronger. Each June, we host the annual Pride Picnic on the shores of Detroit Lake—a joyful day filled with love, acceptance, and celebration for people of all ages. Throughout the year, we also hold events such as Trans Day of Remembrance and other gatherings that foster education, remembrance, and community building.

Funds raised through Give to the Max Day will support our general operations, helping us continue to create safe, inclusive, and affirming spaces for everyone in our region.
