Educating young leaders to bring peace and hope to Kenya’s nomadic culture

Meet Arnold.

My name is called Arnold Peror.  I am in grade seven.  My family is from Alale in West Pokot County.  My favorite class is grade seven.  I like that class because we perform well.

When I grow up I want to be a pilot.  I want to be a pilot because I do well in mathematics.  I want to fly up to America.

During my free time I like to teach my friends mathematics and science.

My favorite thing about Daylight is that there are the best teachers, free education and pupils eats balance diet.

Daylight Model School it is the best school in West Pokot.  Pupils participate in various games.

I would like to thank you for supporting us for education, buying for us a bus.

May God bless you abundantly.  Thank you.  Arnold Peror

Arnold is just one of 400 students who’s lives have been changed with community and education through Daylight Center and School in Kenya.

We are saving children’s lives by providing them with safety, food, shelter, and an education.

We aim to educate a new generation of leaders to serve and transform their communities and inspire other ways of livelihood - to realize a peaceful future for themselves. Daylight is located in the city of Kapenguria at the edge of the nomadic lands. Today, Daylight has committed teachers providing education for 400 kids who come from tribes across the region.

With your gift, you are helping Daylight educate young leaders and you are a part of bringing peace and hope to Kenya's nomadic culture.

Daylight's Founder, Michael and Nathan, give a TED Talk on cross-cultural friendship
