Dawson-Boyd Baseball Association

Dawson-Boyd Baseball Association was developed to provide baseball opportunities for players from third graders to adults.  In 2022, we sponsored a total of seven teams:  3rd/4th Grade, 5th/6th Grade, 7th/8th Grade, Junior Legion, and Minnesota Amateur Baseball.  

We have made many significant improvements over the years to Nelson Field.  These include field lights, sprinkler system, and playing field maintenance.  Our current projects include purchasing a brand new 36 ft. Daktronics scoreboard to be installed in Spring of 2023, as well as a new backstop that will increase height of safety netting and extend from dugout to dugout.

Nelson Field Improvements Fundraising Campaign

A large plaque will be placed at the baseball field recognizing all donors.  Donor categories are listed below:

Grand Slam $5000 or more - Ads on new school video scoreboards in the gym for one year for each $5000 donated.

Home Run $2500-$4999

Triple         $1000-$2499

Double       $500-$999

Single         $100-$499
