Dar Al-Farooq

Do you feel that Masjids in your area are not living up to their potential? Have they become a place to simply pray and leave? 

Al-Farooq Youth and Family Center (AFYFC) in Bloomington, MN,  hopes to break that mold.  We strive not only to serve the basic needs of the Muslim community, but to go above and beyond.  

AFYFC, under the leadership of Shaykh Waleed Meneese, has offered many activities since opening in 2011.  But the financial difficulties of running such a large community center have been an obstacle to establish even greater ideas and programs.

We currently offer daily classes with Shaykh Waleed Meneese, the Al-Jazari Islamic Academy, with over 1000 registered students, and much more.

But many people might not realize that the monthly payments and utility costs alone reach $30,000 a month.  This is why we need the support of the Muslim community to keep running and growing.

Some of the future programs at AFYFC, inshallah:

-Full time Da'wah institute 

-Arabic immersion program

-Sports league in our full-size gym

-Regular lectures by well-known national and international speakers and scholars.
