What is Can I Play That? 

    Can I Play That? is the journalism initiative of Dagersystem. Can I Play That? provides all forms of accessibility information on video games and the industry. Reviews, news stories, and features at CIPT exclusively report on the ever-growing presence and adoption of accessibility features within the gaming industry with the goal of helping disabled gamers and their support systems to find games that may be accessible to them without having to buy the game first.

What is Dagersystem?

    Dagersystem is a nonprofit that informs disabled gamers about which video games may be accessible to them prior to purchase, while also educating developers on how to make their video games more accessible.

Accessibility Reviews

    It's an unfortunate reality for many disabled gamers that not all games are accessible to our needs, sometimes leading to us making a purchase that we cannot play, and often cannot return for full price. We publish accessibility reviews of video games covering as many areas of accessibility as possible in order to give disabled players as much information prior to making a purchase as possible.

Educating Developers 
    Our reviews, news stories and insights also provide developers with meaningful feedback on how to improve the games that they produce to make their games as accessible to as many players as possible. Alongside this, we've spoken at conferences, panels, and at studios directly to work with video game developers who are as passionate about accessibility as we are.

Meaningful Employment for those with Disabilities 
    Since 2019, Dagersystem has built an ecosystem where disabled people are hired to work in the field of journalism, because we know that when it comes to reviewing games and technology for accessibility, the best perspectives come from people in the community. We have designed our employment program to capitalize on the strengths and perspectives of profoundly disabled individuals, and take pride in the work that we do.

• Enabling our conference team to attend development conferences to spread the word about accessibility in games

    To help us in our mission to employ people with disabilities to serve others like us, we need your help. With an average of 16,000 readers a month, CanIPlayThat.com serves an important need in the disability community.
