This Give to the Max Day, we're excited to highlight one of the most impactful ways our Parent Booster Club supports Dakota Hills Middle School: the Teacher Mini Grant Program. Our Parent Booster Club started this program back in 2015.

Every year, teachers complete and submit a mini grant application for a variety of classroom tools/resources they need/want that are above their normal classroom budget, but will enhance our student's learning experiences. These grants have funded items like: new sleds, soft volleyballs, cow eyeballs, a variety of classroom libraries with new/updated book options at a variety of reading levels to meet each student's needs, fidgets, an annual presentation by an author, updated microphones for theater, updating kitchen tools, a pasta maker and new 3-D printers.

Last year, through a variety of fundraising efforts and donations received throughout the year, we were able to accommodate $6,000.00 in mini grant funding to our teachers - directly benefiting our students and teachers in meaningful and lasting ways. Generally, we strive to fund $3-4,000 in mini-grants requests. 

This year, we hope to be able to do as much as we did last year! Your Give to the Max contribution will help us say "yes" to more teacher requests to help us continue to provide more opportunities that create a fun and engaging learning environment for our kids.
