Investing in the Potential of Community Insiders

Cultivate is a people-centered education platform that empowers community leaders to successfully lead positive social impact.

Across the globe, less than 10% of charitable organizations are led by community insiders - those who intimately understand the challenges their own communities face. But the barriers to successfully lead their own community’s fight against poverty and oppression are many. Without a strong foundation of skills, resources, and support, community insiders will continue to be a minority of those leading impactful charitable organizations. Lasting social change happens when these leaders are empowered, and Cultivate’s capacity-building program equips them for this work.

We believe that if passionate leaders have access to skills, resources, and community, we can empower change. Local community organizations have significant potential to create tomorrow’s future. Our one-of-a-kind digital learning and personalized coaching program has helped 59 community leaders grow their skills and understanding, resulting in over 6,000 people worldwide receiving better services led by these leaders and their programs. But there are countless more communities waiting for their own leaders to arise and overcome: leaders who need allies to support them in their journey.

In 2023, we are continuing to increase our reach and impact. We are ready to support communities domestically and internationally who want to be their own agents of change. To do this, we need allies like you who will take a stand against injustice and the systems that prevent community insiders from reaching their full potential.

By December 31, Cultivate needs to reach two critical goals:

  • $10,000 in year-end donations
  • $500 in new monthly donations commitments for next year

Be an ally for community change from within. Together we can empower and cultivate change for a better tomorrow.
