Contented Critters

Contented Critters is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) non-profit (EIN: 41-1835418, License: MN140872) no-kill animal shelter, located in northern Minnesota, dedicated to finding homes for the abused, unwanted, and abandoned animals of St. Louis County and beyond. All donations go directly toward benefitting the animals in our care.

Mission and Vision

The mission of Contented Critters is to advocate for and help pets in need through rescue, no-kill sheltering, rehabilitation, appropriate veterinary care, and adoption. Our vision is to reduce the community need for pet rescue through preemptive measures, such as a spay and neuter program for pets in our care, and community outreach and education.
