Connecting Nicollet County

Nicollet County continues to be a vibrant area full of organizations, businesses, farms, and communities with strong leaders answering the call to do what is best for their communities. Connecting Nicollet County is proud to be a part of that thriving legacy of leadership.

The Connecting Nicollet County program was formed in 2010 by a core group of community members who wanted to ensure the vitality of Nicollet County moving forward. Our partnership with the University of Minnesota Extension ensures our leadership education is research driven, and that graduates have the competence, connections, and confidence they will need to lead. 

In the past eight years, Connecting Nicollet County has grown over 200 leaders through education, creating connections, identifying emerging leaders, showcasing businesses and organizations, and celebrating their contributions to their communities. 

As we look towards the future of this county, we know that the work of local leaders will be more important than ever. Connecting Nicollet County continues to ensure that our communities are meeting that demand.
