Community Cafe Inc

Since opening its doors in June of 2001, the Community Cafe` has proudly served over 200,000 free, hot & nutritious meals to those who are in need. Building on our mission the Cafe has been an excellent place to socialize and network with people from all walks of life. There are no restrictions or income guidelines to dine at the Community Cafe`. Everyone is welcome. There is no charge for the meals, but donations are graciously accepted. Our patrons range from teenagers to families with young children and people in their 80s, living in more than 71 communities throughout the Itasca County Area. The Cafe` board, staff and supporters are dedicated to reducing hunger and building a stronger community by providing nutritious meals each week year round.  Right now we are serving more people than in years past both in Grand Rapids and Deer River, up to 800 patrons per week. We pledge that with your support, we will continue the aggressive fight against hunger
