The Community Athletic Development Program (CADP) is a USA Hockey sanctioned program. We exist to advance and develop young female athletes.

Recent Achievements

During 2012, more than 60 CADP athletes are playing DI and DIII college hockey.  Since 2012, nine IIHF World Championship Gold Medals & three Silver Medal medals have been awarded to CADP high school athletes on the U18 USA Hockey World Team. Eleven current CADP athletes were selected to the 2011 Class AA and A MN Girls’ High School Hockey All-State and All-State Honorable Mention Teams.  Thirty-one CADP athletes participated in the 2011 Class AA and A MN State High School Hockey Tournament.  Eight of our former players advanced to the final stage of tryouts for the USA Women’s Hockey team for the 2010 Vancouver Olympics

Help us execute:

Scholarship Goal: $45,000.  Please help us provide additional scholarships to student athletes, who are facing reduced participation because of economic issues.  CADP currently covers $300 per athlete in the program, and we have 12 athletes on full need-based scholarships.

Ice Goal: $35,000.  We host training and development programs in the spring, summer and fall to develop athletes year round and help them reach their full potential, and ice costs are increasing annually.

Team CADP Goal: $30,000.  To help our athletes realize their dreams of playing college hockey, we take Team CADP to out of state tournaments to increase recruiting visibilty.  CADP attempts to cover travel, accommodation costs, and tournament fees through monetary and airline miles donations, so that all qualified athletes can participate, regardless of economic status.

Coaching Goal: $25,000.  CADP endeavors to provide opportunities to young female coaches interested in developing leadership skills, growing the sport, and giving back to their communities.  With your help, we hope to sponsor 10 female coaches, where each will make a three-year commitment to the program and have the opportunity to earn a USA Hockey Level 4 certification.

Equipment Goal: $25,000. To ensure the best and safest training environment possible, CADP needs to purchase new weight vests, training aides and equipment.
