The Community and Seniors Together (CAST Senior Center) organization provides New Ulm/Brown County area senior citizens with activities, entertainment, programming and resources, plus learning and socializing opportunities.

We are an independent, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving our parents, grandparents, neighbors and friends since 1984. As a nonprofit, we rely solely on donations, fundraisers and grants to operate.

The CAST Senior Center has weekly activities, including Bingo, Bridge, Cribbage, Hand and Foot, Scrabble, Sheephead and 500. We have several activity groups, including CASTLE Lifelong Learning, the Greeting Card Recyclers, Little Dresses Sewers, and the MusicMakers. CAST provides Blood Pressure Checks, a Caregiver Support Group, the Friends in the Kitchen cooking class, SAIL Exercise Classes, and Senior Driver Refresher Courses. In addition, we offer monthly programs or series on topics of interest to seniors.

Since 2011, our CASTLE Lifelong Learning program has offered learning opportunities on wide variety of subjects, including the arts, health and wellness, history, literature, music, nature, technology and science. In 2021, CASTLE was revamped and now provides at least 57 learning opportunities annually, including 18 in-person programs, 36 interactive virtual programs and 3 Holiday Extra programs.

Your donation will help us continue our Mission to help senior citizens maintain health, fitness, vitality and independence. Thank you for your support! Your generosity is appreciated!
