At Community & Life Services (CLS), we believe that recovery is not just possible, it’s powerful. Every person who walks through our doors carries a story of resilience, and our mission is to walk beside them as they rebuild their confidence, purpose, and place in the community.

As a Certified Recovery Community Organization, our work is led by people who have lived it. Our Certified Peer Recovery Specialists (CPRS) and Community Health Workers (CHW) understand that recovery doesn’t happen in isolation it happens through connection, compassion, and consistent support.

Every day, we meet individuals and families who are doing their best to get back on their feet. We help them access food, healthcare, and stability. We sit down to help them fill out forms, make calls, and take those small but life-changing steps that lead to independence.

The real transformation happens when someone begins to believe in themselves again. One participant recently worked with our team to navigate the healthcare system after years of avoidance due to trauma and mistrust. Together, we built trust, restored confidence, and helped him take charge of his well-being. Today, he’s scheduling long-overdue appointments. A step towards health, dignity, and hope.
