Citizens for a Loring Park Community is the official neighborhood association for the Loring Park neighborhood.


The Mission of Citizens for a Loring Park Community (CLPC) is to cultivate continuing leadership and help a diverse neighborhood realize a more harmonious, thriving, and beautiful community.

CLPC has four (4) main areas of focus:

Community livability: Improve safety, promote livability, and host events. Events include: Loring Park Music Festival, PRIDE Festival, Aquatennial Pre-Parade Party, Loring Park Art Festival, National Night Out, Neighborhood Holiday Party, 'Love Loring' Fundraiser & WinterFest.

Economic vitality: Support and strengthen unique cultural and economic assets, including: neighborhood businesses, educational and religious institutions, ethnic restaurants, designers, artists, entrepreneurs, writers, & musicians.

Sustainability: Promote energy and resource efficiency and environmental quality. 

Historic preservation: Preserve the historic buildings in the Loring Hill and Harmon Districts.


Annual Events

We sponsor the Artists Breakfast during the Loring Park Art Festival.

We organize and promote the Loring Park Music Festival

We organize a Neighborhood National Nite Out Event.

The Berger Fountain (Dandelion) Restoration.

Public Improvements on Harmon Avenue.
