Church of Ss Peter and Paul

Ss. Peter & Paul is a small-town parish in Loretto, Minnesota, located in western Hennepin County. We are a parish of approximately 280 families. Led by Fr. Glen Jenson, our mission is to form and nurture disciples of Jesus Christ in union with the Roman Catholic Church.

We have set four goals to achieve in the next five years.

1. Hire a Parish Life Coordinator to focus on fostering a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere and to engage in community outreach.
2. Market our parish, making it more visible to the community and area through social media along with the printed word.
3. Update our church facilities to accommodate our elderly by adding an elevator and bathrooms; and connecting the church to our Parish Center.
4. Restore the interior of our church to its former glory to reflect the beauty and rich heritage of our Catholic faith and our love for Jesus Christ in the Blessed Sacrament.

We have hired a Parish Life Coordinator and begun to work on the marketing area. Because the Archdiocese has put a freeze on Capital Campaigns, we have had to put goal #3 on hold; thus, we have begun work on restoring the interior of our church.

As we work through these goals, the hope is our small parish will flourish, attract new families, enrich our parish community with a variety of backgrounds and experiences, and set more souls on fire for the love of Jesus Christ.
