Celebrating our 35th Season!

Greetings!

Another performing season is in motion!

We are preparing for another fall concert titled Glow in the Dark: Dances of Resilience and Renewal to be held  November 14-16, 2025 at the Tek Box at the Cowles Center. I’m really enjoying working with the dancers and am excited about the new work. We continue to hold most of our rehearsals at St. Paul Ballet on Fairview Avenue North, off University Avenue in St. Paul.

Glow in the Dark brings together new and restaged works that embody themes of resilience and renewal—illuminating the strength of artists and communities to find light in times of challenge. In addition to two works by me, the program features choreography by Becky Heist, Ray Terrill/Ray Terrill Dance Group, Sarah LaRose-Holland/Kinetic Evolutions, KASM Dance Collective, Erin Thompson, and Thern Anderson.

This concert highlights CWDC’s long-standing mission to foster collaboration and present a diverse range of choreographic voices. Through physicality, intimate gestures, and memorable imagery, the program invites audiences to reflect on resilience and embrace the possibilities of renewal.

As I have written before, I am particularly proud of the strong relationships among the members of our multigenerational company. We are a nimble group of artists—our art helps us respond to what we experience in the world, and our strong ties keep us connected through the challenges we face. Our art helps us respond to what we experience in the world and our strong ties keep us connected during the challenges we face.

We count on contributions from our generous donors to continue our work and hope you’ll support us this season.
