Christ Lutheran Church

Whether you are a member of the congregation or a new friend seeking a faith community, we invite you to experience Christian worship, fellowship and outreach at Christ Lutheran Church in Slayton, MN.  You are welcome to join us for worship on Saturdays at 5:15 pm or Sundays at 10:15 am.

We also invite you, by using this Razoo Fundraising page, to support our ministry through your generosity. It is gifts like yours that allow Christ Lutheran to fulfill its mission locally, and the ministry that we do through the Southwestern Minnesota Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), the ELCA World Hunger program, and Lutheran World Relief.

Christ Lutheran depends on generous support from our members and other donors to fund all the things that keeps our ministry going—from caring for our building and grounds to the spiritual support we receive from our pastors, and including such things as materials and staff support for our Christian Education and music programs.

In addition to our own congregation's activities, Christ Lutheran also strives to be an active member of our Slayton community. We are committed to being a gathering place for the neighborhood, hosting counseling offices in our building, as well as providing space for groups such as a “chair yoga” exercise class, AARP Driver Safety Classes and the Red Cross Blood Mobile.  We also support community ministries like the Food Shelf, Clothing Shelf, Hospice, etc.

Remembering Jesus’ Great Commission to proclaim the Gospel throughout the world, Christ Lutheran is committed to passing 10% of our unrestricted income on to the Southwestern Minnesota Synod for the work that we do together with other Christians throughout the world.
