Choral Arts Ensemble of Rochester

A nonprofit organization

Supporting Choral Arts Ensemble allows us to present great music in concert and at the bedside!

Choral Arts Ensemble (CAE), now in its 35th season, has been inspiring audiences throughout southeast Minnesota with performances of outstanding choral music since 1985.  The volunteer singers of CAE are active community members from a wide variety of professions, including teachers, business owners, doctors, bankers, computer technicians, and church leaders, all drawn together to create excellent music and contribute to the artistically thriving life in and around Rochester.

In addition to performing 5 concerts each season, CAE actively reaches out into the community through the Heart to Heart Singers Quartet.  This group brings music into hospice homes, Alzheimer's units, senior centers, and health-care houses (i.e. Ronald McDonald).  In these and other locations, the power of music can offer comfort, and the act of singing together often brings a period of clarity to those who suffer from memory loss.

CAE also has a commitment to encouraging and fostering young choral conductors in SE Minnesota through the Choral Conductor's Network.  The primary focus is on high school conductors, but middle school and local church choir conductors are also invited to networking events, music reading sessions, and master classes.
