Chloe's Courage Fund was created to impact children and families facing a life threatening illness by promoting courage and celebrating bravery.

Trophies

Chloe Fruth recognized the power that the promise of a trophy her favorite nurse had given her when she was undergoing cancer treatment. It gave her strength to complete the intense and painful treatments and “win” the trophy. It was Chloe’s dying wish that her dream of sharing trophies with other children facing treatment be carried on. In fact, her dream was for Chloe’s Courage Fund to support kids nationwide. Each year, trophies are awarded to hundreds of children bravely battling cancer. Award a Trophy

Sibling Medallions

Chloe understood the impact her lifelong battle with cancer had on her younger brother Bridger. In an effort to recognize that the disease impacts everyone in the family, Chloe’s Courage Fund offers medallions to brothers and sisters of the child receiving treatment for cancer. Sibling Medallions

Tutoring

When a child experiences a serious or chronic illness, it’s difficult to think beyond the next treatment. While health is the first priority, Chloe’s Courage Fund understands that education also is important. School is part of every child’s normal day and even the most reluctant learner would prefer to be healthy and in school rather than at home or in the hospital.

Chloe’s Courage Fund offers financial support to make tutoring services available to children facing an acute or long-term illness. Apply for Tutoring Services

Scholarships

Chloe excelled in school and earned a 4.22 grade point average—education was a very important part of her life. Chloe’s Courage Fund honors her legacy by providing scholarships to kids impacted by cancer.

Chloe’s Courage Fund began awarding scholarships in 2013. One graduating senior in each of the high schools that Chloe had attended, Jordan and Maple Lake, Minnesota received a scholarship. This tradition has continued every school year.

Chloe’s Courage Fund has added a third scholarship this year, which will be awarded to a graduating high school senior from any school district across the nation. Apply for Scholarships

Chloe's Wish

In 2012, at age 16, Chloe passed away peacefully with loved ones by her side. Soon after, Staci and Pat officially launched Chloe’s Courage Fund. With the support of friends and family, and a devoted board of directors,  Chloe’s Courage Fund continues to carry on their beloved daughter’s vision to make the lives of kids battling life-threatening illness—and their families—a little better.
