CHC: Creating Healthier Communities exists so that every person in every community has an opportunity to live their healthiest life.

CHC: Creating Healthier Communities brings business and health sector leaders together to focus on improving the resilience and health of communities across the U.S. Particular emphasis will be placed on the social, economic and environmental factors influencing health, including unemployment, poor housing conditions and low educational attainment, along with lack of access to quality healthcare. 

CHC offers program development and strategic community alliances to tackle root causes and systemic issues. We focus on upstream solutions. CHC conducts community health equity trends assessment and planning, including databases and training. Development opportunities include equity education, cultural humility training, policy development and customized consultation.

Here in Minnesota, CHC represents over 50+ high-impact nonprofits that are working to address barriers to good health and equity while powering transformative change in the communities in which we work.

Together with partners, we’ve been creating healthier communities for more than 70 years.   We exist so that every person in every community has an opportunity to live their healthiest life.  We build capacity for nonprofits by raising awareness, amplifying their message, and driving more funds and supporters to their cause; increase employee engagement and social impact for companies through giving, volunteering, health resources, engagement tools, community partnerships, and more; bring leaders together at the national, regional, and local levels to educate, elevate key issues, and improve overall social impact and community health; build community partnerships to harness collective efforts and coalitions; working together to tackle projects that improve community health and address root causes at scale.
